John Singleton was more than just a movie director. He was dedicated to his hometown of Los Angeles and representing it on film. Singleton, who died on April 29^th of complications from a stroke, left behind quite a legacy. Film critic Tim Cogshell says the best way to see it is to look at Singleton’s producer credits.
