Southern California is loaded with classic movie locations. There may even be one right next door to where you live.

We found an aviation enthusiast and movie buff named Matthew Liivoja who found a movie location in the air from the movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, released back in 1984.

In that movie is a rare airplane built in the late 1920’s by Henry Ford, the guy who gave us the fabulous Model A, Model T and who’s company eventually gave us the Ford Taurus.

This Ford Trimotor is a little more flashy than the Taurus, which is probably why it made its way into the iconic Harrison Ford film. One of the few remaining Ford Trimotors was at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana recently.  See how Matthew became a part of movie history, if only in his incredible imagination.
