The 1980s movie “Karate Kid” inspired a generation of young people to pursue martial arts. Now, the Netflix series “Cobra Kai” has helped spawn a new generation of martial arts fans who are flocking to dojos in the San Fernando Valley, where both the film and TV series are set. Sensei Fariborz Azhakh, owner of Team Karate Center and his daughter, Laila, share their experience.
