Logan's Gardens in Silver Lake is believed to be the only Black owned nursery in all of Los Angeles. Father-and-son duo, Jimmy and Logan Williams, say their business, which includes building and maintaining edible gardens for the rich and famous, has more than doubled since the beginning of the pandemic. And, despite the incredible success of their business, they are no strangers to the injustices of racism.
You can find Logan's Gardens at the Santa Monica farmers market every Wednesday and Saturday and at the Hollywood Farmers Market every Sunday.
