Los Angeles County is home to more than 30 of the state's 184 library systems.

Impassioned readers across the county have been collecting library cards to satisfy their reading habits.

But, on Nov. 1, Macmillan Publishers imposed restrictions on libraries acquiring its new e-books.

LA Times reporter Sonja Sharp stopped by LA Times Today to talk about the decision and how it affects readers across L.A. County.
