Actor Andy Garcia has played a variety of thugs and gangsters in his career -- he was nominated for an Oscar for his role in The Godfather Part III.
Now he brings new life to another character, 'Johnny Rocco,' from Key Largo.
The classic 1948 film starred Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, and Edward G. Robinson. The movie was based on a play about a mobster who holes up in a small hotel in the Florida Keys during a hurricane.
Garcia has helped adapt Key Largo into a new stage production at the Geffen Theater in Westwood -- directed by Tony Award winner, Doug Hughes.
