LOS ANGELES – Truth Aquatics has suspended all operations as it faces ongoing scrutiny from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other agencies who are investigating the deadliest boat fire in modern California history.

The Conception dive boat went up in flames on Labor Day off the coast of Santa Cruz Island, killing 34 people on board the vessel.

L.A. Times Crime Reporter Richard Winton has been following multiple investigations into the fire, including a criminal probe.
