EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Sixteen sticks of dynamite detonated by a windup alarm clock 109 years ago blew up the Los Angeles Times building on Broadway and First Street.
Twenty-one people lost their lives and hundreds more were injured.
The L.A. Times called the attack the "crime of the century."
Now you can relive the events of that 1910 bombing through an L.A. tour company and a retired bomb squad detective.
One man who knows all about the bombing and the entire L.A. Times history is communication representative Darrell Kunitomi.
