The return of horse racing to Santa Anita Park over the weekend was met with enthusiasm -- and a fair amount of apprehension -- due to the deaths of 22 racehorses there since Christmas. All was fine, until Sunday, when yet another horse -- the 23rd -- died while running a race. LA Times Today visited the track and host Chris Leary spoke with Times reporter John Cherwa.
