California Assemblymember Heath Flora (R-12) comes from a community service background. 

In his Know Your Electeds interview, Flora talks about his work as a firefighter and in public safety. "It's just this innate desire to serve the community," he says. He also describes the importance of the Boys and Girls Clubs across the state. 

Flora has represented California's 12th Assembly District since 2016. If he wasn't in public service, he says he'd be in the family business: agriculture.
