How would Assemblymember Timothy S. Grayson (D-14) describe his district in three words? "Hardworking middle class."

In his Know Your Electeds, Grayson elaborates on how serving as a chaplain inspired him to run for office. "Seeing the needs that were within the community, seeing the policies that were being made and how they impact people's lives became the motivator and the driving force for running for local politics." Grayson also talks about the housing crisis across California and his legislative priorities.

Grayson has represented California's 14th Assembly District since 2016. His first job was working as a caddy.
