Kamala Harris has accepted the nomination for vice president of the United States of America as she delivered a speech that focused on family during the third night of the Democratic National Convention in Wilmington, Delaware.
Rep. Maxine Waters told Inside the Issues watching her Wednesday night was a “very proud moment.”
“Not only for Kamala and her family. Not only for those who have worked with her, who have known her. But this is a proud moment for little girls all over the world who watched her make a brilliant speech, watched her speak with deep conviction and commitment and looked at her and said, ‘I want to be like her,’” she said.
