Orange County has seen the biggest jump in deaths due to the COVID-19 outbreak in one day, with three lives lost. The new count in that region is 656 cases and 13 deaths according to the Orange County Health Care Agency. Rep. Gil Cisneros (D-Yorba Linda), tells Inside the Issues Orange County is learning to adapt to the new normal while the outbreak continues and he is staying in constant contact with county officials.

The Representative recently held a live town hall on Facebook for his constituents where he was joined by Dr. Sajen Mathew, Chief Medical Officer, and Dr. Claudia Skinner, Director of Infections and Prevention, of St. Jude’s Medical Center in Fullerton to talk about the history of diseases in the United States, the efforts the nation is taking to combat the coronavirus outbreak and answer questions from the public.

Rep. Cisneros also talks about his support for equal pay for women and what this means during the coronavirus outbreak and going forward and his legislation which provides Korean American Vietnam Veterans with access to VA health care.
