There are over 900 streets named for the civil rights hero around the country, and research indicates they are usually in the most racially segregated and high crime areas of the community.

So does MLK Boulevard symbolize progress, or poverty? We sent our reporter Amrit Singh down to MLK Boulevard in Los Angeles to speak with the people to find out.
