In a special episode of “Inside the Issues” dedicated to the fentanyl crisis, host Alex Cohen interviews Bill Bodner, a special agent in charge of the Los Angeles division of the Drug Enforcement Agency, about the increase of fentanyl in street drugs. 

Then, Soma Snakeoil of The Sidewalk Project breaks down what the crisis looks like among LA’s unhoused residents. 

And later, Jaime Puerta, who lost his 16-year-old son Daniel to fentanyl poisoning, shares his son’s story.

Puerta also explains how his group Victims of Illicit Drug Use is working to educate children and their parents about fentanyl poisoning.
