LOS ANGELES — A collaboration between Metro Art, The Huntington-USC Institute on California and the West, and The Chinese Historical Society of Southern California, “Where You Stand: Chinatown 1880 to 1939“ invites visitors to walk through a thriving Chinatown once located where Union Station now stands.

Installed in the Union Station Waiting Room Gallery, the exhibit includes historic photographs and oral history recordings, and uses augmented reality to show artifact materials superimposed within locations around Union Station.

Visitors can explore the site, which was home to thousands of Chinese residents in the late 19th- to early 20th-century Los Angeles.
