LOS ANGELES — Activists gathered Saturday in Pershing Square to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the displacement of Palestinian people during the formation of Israel.
Organizers from groups like the Answer Coalition and the Palestinian Youth Movement spoke about what they called the ongoing struggle for Palestinian liberation.
After some time, activists took to the streets and marched through downtown LA while chanting, holding up homemade signs and waving Palestinian flags.
