LOS ANGELES — The East Side Riders are a volunteer organization with a mission to improve Watts through community service, charity work and bike programs aimed at keeping local youth out of gang activity.

When he’s not on two wheels, John Jones III is constantly pushing for change, organizing community events and lending a hand to those in need.
