LOS ANGELES — Inside Safe is Mayor Karen Bass’ program to bring LA’s homeless population off the streets.

The program continues to face challenges, including staffing difficulties, permanent housing hurdles and a lack of services for people taking part in the program.

Mayor Bass says she’s focused on getting people off the streets and addressing bureaucratic challenges that are stymieing progress.
