CERRITOS, Calif. – When do you finally decide to take down your Christmas decorations?
The city of Cerritos requires all holiday decorations to come down within 15 days of the holiday, which is New Year’s Day. That means the deadline is January 15.
Breaking this rule could eventually lead to a fine, but the pathway to that is very long. In fact, a city spokesperson says no one has been fined yet.
