TUSTIN, Calif. — Mike Obedoza, owner of Banger Tacos, spent his childhood eating both his mother’s Filipino food and local Mexican food.

So when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and he had time on his hands, Obedoza suddenly found himself brainstorming ways to combine all those influences into one taco.

He sets up Banger Tacos at First Sundays events around Southern California, where the roller-skating community comes out to support.
