EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Environmental injustice often occurring from climate change, disproportionally affects communities of color and low-income communities in the U.S. and around the world.

In response, KBLA Talk 1580 has launched a historic, $2 million, 12-month climate justice campaign to increase climate health literacy and highlight frontline climate justice crusaders of color.

Tavis Smiley — best-selling author, chief visionary officer of KBLA and host of the “Tavis Smiley Show,” joins “Your Morning” to discuss.

On Tuesday, Smiley will serve as moderator of KBLA’s biggest event, their climate justice symposium, with many special guests expected, including Mayor Karen Bass.
