LOS ANGELES — Cathy J. Hood is an entertainment publicist, but for the past two years, she has also become a community leader.

Hood organizes street cleanings in Hollywood every third Saturday of the month.

She organizes them completely on her own but has the support from Los Angeles City District 13 Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martinez, who helps supply tools and resources for the cleanings.
