LOS ANGELES — The LA Times' 28th annual Festival of Books begins on Earth Day and is the nation’s largest literary festival.
The weekend event features 250 exhibitors, live music and food trucks, seven outdoor stages, and expert panels on a variety of topics, including the environment and climate change.
"Big Tree" author and illustrator Brian Selznick uses the dinosaur extinction as a metaphor in his children's book, as a parallel to the danger of the climate crisis of present day.
