SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Those who have tickets will be welcome to tour perfect strangers’ yards in Los Angeles County as a part of the Theodore Payne Foundation’s annual two-day Native Plant Garden Tour.

This is the 20th year the nonprofit has put on the weekend event. This year's event is on April 15 and 16, and will include gardens packed with native plants at homes, private businesses, public spaces, and more.

But one spot featured in the tour book is a read-about-only spot and won't be welcoming visitors. But in the video above, you'll be able to step into Barbara Chung's patio in Santa Monica, where she has packed more than 150 California-native plants into her backyard patio, which is roughly 20 feet by seven feet.
