CORONA, Calif. — As Southern California deals with storm-dumping rain, some people and agencies are storing some of what’s falling out of the sky. We take you to Alan Oda’s home in West Los Angeles, where he has three rain barrels capturing water to use for fruit trees and other plants in his yard.
We’ll also take you to the Prado Dam in Corona to show you what the Orange County Water District, in collaboration with the Army Corp of Engineers, does with stormwater.
