LOS ANGELES — As the drought continues on for a third consecutive year and water supplies continue to be limited, Southern Californians have been asked to cut back their water use.
Many homeowners, like Elsa Ayala in Rowland Heights, may be unaware of the untapped potential they have for saving water — and money.
Ayala turned to the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California to speak with a conservation specialist. The agency will start offering home surveys in June.
