LOS ANGELES — SAG-AFTRA, the union representing 160,000 actors and performers, is now on strike after a last-ditch effort failed to come to an agreement.
Members will join the WGA strike on the picket lines Friday morning, bringing Hollywood to a standstill, with both unions on strike for the first time since 1960.
Comedian Adam Conover, who sits on the board of the WGA contract negotiating committee and is also a member of SAG-AFTRA, joins “Your Morning” to discuss the latest developments.
