LOS ANGELES — If you are looking for something new to watch this Super Bowl weekend, and as we head into Valentine's Day, you may be interested in Amazon Prime Video's "Somebody I Used to Know."

The film, a rom-com, is directed by Dave Franco and co-written by Alison Brie.

After Ally (Brie) faces a major career setback as a television producer, she finds herself in her hometown where life goes into a tailspin while reuniting with her first love, Sean, who is played by Jay Ellis.

Ally finds herself questioning the person she has become and soon her homecoming becomes chaotic as she discovers Sean is getting married to Cassidy, who is played by Kiersey Clemons.

It is Cassidy’s confidence and creativeness that reminds Ally of who she used to be.

But will Ally end up with her first love? You can find out on Feb. 10 when “Somebody I Used to Know” starts streaming on Amazon Video.

Ahead of the film’s release, Jay Ellis and Kiersey Clemons sat down with Spectrum News for a conversation about the film and how one real-life experience mirrors an event in the film.

Ellis and Clemons also talk about how important it was for Franco and Brie to have diversity in the film.
