PASADENA, Calif. — Get out your hair gel and black rubber bracelets. The Cruel World Festival is returning to Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

Adam Ant, Billy Idol, Echo & the Bunnymen, Gary Numan, Iggy Pop, Love and Rockets, Modern English and Siouxsie are among the 24 featured acts at the one-day music fest celebrating all things ‘80s.

Doc Martins, fishnets, fanny packs and black eyeliner are all listed as allowed items on the Cruel World website, exactly as they should be considering fashions from back in the day.

Now in its second year, the show runs from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 20. Tickets start at $159 and go on sale Friday, Jan. 27, at noon.
