EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Jocelyn & Chris are siblings that have been rising on the music charts as a powerhouse duo for alternative rock.
Jocelyn & Chris have been writing and creating music together since they were in middle school and are both graduates of Harvard University. Their bond for music has made them inseparable. Never once have they written a song without each other.
“From the smallest, tiniest family Sunday stages, all the way up to play in big festivals, it’s been a crazy ride and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in crime,” Jocelyn said.
Chris expressed similar feelings.
“There's no one else we would be able to have this kind of career with and do what we’ve done," he said. "It’s been really great with somebody like that for such a long time."
Their inspirations stem from extraordinary songwriters like Billie Eilish, Sheryl Crow and K.Flay.
Now in their twenties, they’ve had four consecutive radio singles on Billboards' Adult Alternative Airplay and have toured from coast to coast.
While their careers were taking off at the beginning of 2020, the pandemic put a pause on their momentum, but didn’t stop them from doing what they loved best: creating music.
“We had nothing to do other than focus on the music for such a long time," Chris said.
The wait was well worth it. Jocelyn said it is definitely her favorite album the two have made so far.
Jocelyn’s angelic voice gives a much-needed twist to alternative rock.
