Coachella is set to make its return with dates officially set for April 2022. Weekend one will take place on April 15-17 with weekend two set for the following weekend of April 22-24.
The iconic festival, which was last held in 2019, was among the most high-profile SoCal events to be impacted by the outbreak of the coronavirus. The 2020 festival was rescheduled several times before being ultimately canceled.
Stagecoach, Coachella's accompanying county music festival, is also set to make its return over the following weekend of April 29-May 1.
Advance tickets for the Coachella festival can be purchased beginning Friday at https://www.coachella.com/. Dates for advanced tickets have not yet been announced for stagecoachfestival.com.
Lineup information for either music festival was not released.
Coachella brings upward of 250,000 fans over two weekends to the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
The Coachella Valley's economy lost upward of $700 million due to the absence of both festivals, according to a previous report issued by the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership.
All ticket purchases for the previous dates will be honored whenever the festivals are held, organizers said previously.
Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean had been set to headline Coachella, while Lil Nas X, Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson and ZZ Top were scheduled to headline Stagecoach.
