LOS ANGELES (CNS) — The Little Things held onto its spot atop the box office this weekend, grossing $2.1 million, according to industry estimates released Sunday.
The serial killer thriller starring Denzel Washington, which is also available on the HBO Max streaming service, beat out The Croods: A New Age, which made $1.76 million Friday through Sunday in its 11th week at theaters in the United States and Canada, Comscore reported.
The Marksman was third with $1 million, followed by Wonder Woman 1984 with $905,000 and Monster Hunter with $585,000.
Rounding out the top 10 domestic releases, as estimated by Comscore, were News Of The World ($400,000), Promising Young Woman ($220,000), Fatale ($170,000), The War With Grandpa ($167,333), and Earwig And The Witch ($99,941).
Indoor movie theaters in Southern California are closed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic, leaving only limited outdoor screenings.
