Headlining the new suspense thriller, Alone, Jules Willcox is taking her first turn in a starring role in a major picture. The actress believes the industry is showing signs of more inclusion for women, both in front of and behind the cameras.

- Apart from this role, Willcox is perhaps best known for her characters in Dreamkatcher and Bloodline.
- Born and raised in Missouri, Willcox admits being trustworthy and says if she were put in her character's situation she, "would definitely help a man on the side of the road, I don’t know, I probably would have helped him."
- Willcox broke her foot the second week of production and was in a boot during the rest of the shoot. The injury was incorporated into the script.
- The director decided to shoot the entire movie in order. Meaning Willcox's whitewater rapids scenes had to be performed with a broken foot. Her stunt coordinator needed to carry her into the freezing water for each take.
- To increase authenticity, they shot the film in November in the Pacific Northwest.
