Folk revivalist Pete Molinari and singer-songwriter Natasha Bedingfield were among the performers that took to the stage in Calabasas on Sunday for the One Love Malibu concert to help those affected by the deadly Woolsey fire.

Among the other performers at the all-day music festival were Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, Los Angeles rock band Dorothy, Macy Gray and Robin Thicke.

The hastily-organized event drew large crowds of concertgoers, and was held at the King Gillete Ranch in the 26800 block of Mulholland Highway. The event had an uplifting community feel as concert-goers, local residents, and volunteers mingled together while the bands played.

"I think it's the community coming together just to really show support and to show that we love each other," said Hana, a Westlake Village resident who was attending the concert.

"Very happy to be here, this is aweseome. This is a community coming together, I feel really good participating," said Chad Hayes, a writer and Malibu resident.

The community came together for the event, bringing food, drink and merchandise, with all proceeds going directly to relief funds.

Some volunteers even came from overseas.

"I was just over here on business and I heard this was going on and because I do this back at home, screenprinting, I thought I'd come and help screenprint," said Chris Hopewell, an artist and screenprinter from the UK.

Tickets to the festival ranged from $100 to $30,000, according to the event website.

Although the Malibu Foundation has now raised over $900K since Novemer 11, what really stood out on the day was a sense of love, resilience, and of course, community.

The Woolsey fire broke out on Nov. 8 near the Ventura and Los Angeles county lines and burned 96,949 acres, according to Cal Fire.

As it raged over two weeks, the blaze claimed three lives and destroyed 1,500 buildings before it was fully contained.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
