LOS ANGELES — The University of Southern California will require students, faculty and staff to wear N95 or surgical masks on campus for the spring semester, according to a tweet from campus paper, The Daily Trojan.

Citing a student media briefing from Chief Health Officer Dr. Sarah Van Orman, the Trojan reported that cloth masks and other facial coverings would no longer be considered acceptable while on campus.

This is a developing story. We will update as more information becomes available.
