LONG BEACH, Calif. — Kitchen Lingo in Long Beach sells nothing but culinary books — but that doesn't mean cookbooks. There are books about food history, food production, chef memoirs and everything have to do with food.
Owner Matt Miller says he opened the store because he loves to read about food, and he's discovered Angelenos do, too.
"Everybody tells me that they have a huge cookbook collection, and that they like to read them in bed," he said. "It’s surprising how many people tell me that."
