LOS ANGELES — There’s a new exhibition at the Skirball Cultural Center called This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers of the Civil Rights Movement.
The exhibition captures the Civil Rights Movement from an insider’s perspective, shining a light on the allies from numerous backgrounds who also stood in solidarity in the fight for justice.
A few of the images were on display at an evening hosted by Shari Redstone and Gelila Puck with thought leaders across sectors in attendance to rebuild the bridges between the Black and Jewish communities through art and conversation.
The exhibition is now open at the Skirball Cultural Center until Feb. 25, 2024.
