LOS ANGELES — Founded in 1985, the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts is a tuition-free public school run by the county Office of Education in partnership and on the campus of California State University, LA.

Part of the Hollywood Bowl’s 100^th season celebration is their two-day jazz festival where students from the LA County High School for the arts will play alongside some of today’s top names in jazz such as The Roots, Cory Wong, Veronica Swift and pianist Gerald Clayton — who is himself an alumnus of LACHSA.
