"Dogs! A Science Tail" at the California Science Center
Dogs! A Science Tail is an immersive 7,000- to 9,000-square-foot traveling exhibition that explores the bond between humans and dogs—one of the most successful interspecies partnerships of all time. This exhibition, divided into four sections and demonstration space, reveals where dogs came from, how dogs experience the world, what makes our bond so special and how to care for dogs. Immersive experiences invite guests to see, hear, smell and think like a dog. There will even be demonstrations by trained professionals and their canines. Guests will have opportunities to see real dogs, pretend to be dogs and share their favorite dog photos and videos in the exhibit. The Music Center – Los Angeles
The Music Center is one of the largest performing arts centers in the United States. Located in downtown LA, The Music Center is home to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Ahmanson Theater, Mark Taper Forum, Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theatre and Walt Disney Concert Hall. Catch ballet outdoors at the Blue Ribbon Garden with Alonzo King LINES Ballet's Dance at Dusk. Returning after an eight-year absence from Music Center stages, the company will perform a mixed program featuring the full company of 12 dancers. Then, Unwind Under the Stars with Grammy-nominated, world-renowned musician Jens Lindemann, as he performs many genres, from jazz to contemporary, classical to rock. Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden
The LA County Arboretum and Botanic Garden is 127 acres of beauty and history, nestled into the hills near the San Gabriel Mountains in Arcadia, California. There are so many beautiful gardens with exotic plants to see and exotic birds, small mammals, reptiles, and aquatic creatures! The Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park

This iconic natural rock formation park is an amazing sight to see, situated in the Sierra Pelona Mountains in Northern Los Angeles. You may recognize this area from many of your favorite movies and TV shows, including the "Star Trek" series, "Holes," "The Big Bang Theory," "Fear Factor," "Friends," "Austin Powers" and many others. It was even the location for Michael Jackson's "Black and White" music video. Enjoy a nice hike, nature/plant walk or even try horseback riding!
The Ballona Creek Bike Path
3459 McManus Ave., Culver City, CA
The Ballona Creek Bike Path is a 6.7 miles stretch of Class 1 bicycle path and a pedestrian walkway on federally owned land belonging to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It is managed by Los Angeles County and parallels Ballona Creek for most of its entire length. The path starts at Syd Kronenthal Park in east Culver City (a few blocks south of Washington Boulevard), and extends about 7 miles to the Coast Bike Path along the beach. Shoreline and Los Angeles River Bike Path
Long Beach Shoreline Marina and 54th Place and E. Ocean Boulevard
Shoreline and Los Angeles River Bike Path is a 21.7 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Long Beach, California, that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for trail running, birding, and road biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash. This scenic trail runs right along the beach and offers the opportunity to enjoy the water in beautiful Long Beach along the way.
