There is nothing more quintessentially SoCal in the summertime than coming to the Hollywood Bowl to watch a concert under the stars.

If you're a music fan, you'll know the coronavirus pandemic silenced all concerts at the Bowl this past season. But there's a silver lining.

With the help of artistic director Gustavo Dudamel, the iconic Los Angeles Philharmonic has performed a number of live performances in the empty venue this year. They're released online every Friday through November 20 as part of a music series called "SOUND/STAGE" which audiences can enjoy at home.

The SoCal Scene host Melvin Robert recently sat down with Meghan Martineau, LA Phil's VP of Artistic Planning, to find out more about all the beautiful music.
