EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — The U.S. has been rocked by more mass shootings, this time in Lewiston, Maine. They’re the deadliest mass shootings of the year, with the killer still on the loose.

Despite thoughts, prayers and 61% of Americans wanting an assault-weapons ban, the carnage only seems to be getting worse, with extreme politics out of step and many desperately wanting change.
