LOS ANGELES — An arraignment is scheduled Jan. 18 for Ed Buck, a prominent Democratic Party donor charged with running a drug den in his West Hollywood apartment, in connection with the alleged near-fatal overdose of a man at the residence.

He was convicted of a series of federal charges, including providing methamphetamine to two men who died in his West Hollywood apartment.
