LOS ANGELES — The Go For Broke Plaza and First Street North Residences project will have 248 affordable housing units as well as commercial space. A portion of the units will be reserved for homeless veterans.
The project reclaims a site in Little Tokyo that was taken by the city in the 1950s through eminent domain.
The $138 million project is being built through a community partnership that includes Go For Broke National Education Center, Little Tokyo Service Center and Little Tokyo Community Council.
