LOS ANGELES — City leaders in California are lobbying Gov. Gavin Newsom for more funding in order to address the state’s top crisis: homelessness.

Spectrum News toured a newly renovated hotel in Woodland Hills, that is gearing up to open as interim housing for homeless families.

It was through state funding, by way of Project Homekey 2.0, that this facility was able to open.
