LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles LGBT Center is a safe haven for the community to gather offering programs and support in both mental and physical wellness, with more social events supporting LGBTQ+ seniors than any other organization.

The surgeon general recently issued an advisory calling attention to what is being called an epidemic of loneliness and isolation. About a quarter of adults aged 65 and older are considered to be socially isolated, which can put people at higher risk for dementia or other serious medical conditions.

The Los Angeles LGBT Center now hosts the Tinseltown Squares Dance Club at its Anita May Rosenstein campus. Everyone is welcome regardless of sexual orientation.
