LOS ANGELES — A Los Angeles artist is using his art to change how people view mental disorders and suicide.

Kazuki Takizawa owns KT Glassworks in the West Adams District in Los Angeles, and his goal is to destigmatize mental illness. 

He's considered one of the premiere glassblowing artists in the country. His works can be seen in galleries from L.A. to Dallas to Santa Fe. 

When meeting Takizawa and getting to know his happy and easygoing demeanor, you may be surprised that he lives with a mental illness.

He's made it his mission to spread awareness through his glassblowing artwork.
