“My first memories were watching things like Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. American films I responded to,” Cox said.

At the 77th Annual Golden Globes, Cox won Best Performance By an Actor in a Drama TV series.
“My work has never had this effect. I’ve done a lot, but it hasn’t had the reverberation this has had,” Cox said.
As he enjoyed the evening with his wife, he wasn’t alone in taking home an accolade. HBO’s Succession also won Best Drama TV series. The series is about a dysfunctional American global-media family. It has a strong fan base – and many accolades as well.
All this success with Succession surely is making his younger self proud.
