LOS ANGELES — “Made in LA 2023: Acts of Living” brings together 39 artists and groups for the sixth edition of their biennial showcase of LA artists. 

The exhibition borrows a quote from LA artist Noah Purifoy, “Creativity can be an act of living, a way of life, and a formula for doing the right thing,” which is inscribed on a plaque at the Watts Towers. 

The exhibition reflects the breadth and diversity of LA artists with a focus on intergenerationality, community, queer identity and Indigenous and diasporic histories.
