The sheriff's office says they were helping U.S. Marshals look for a man and woman wanted for an armed robbery in Wisconsin.

Investigators negotiated with the pair for several hours to try and end the standoff safely. They surrended just before 8 p.m.

"Any situation you go into is unpredictable; so we are taking every precaution that we have right now. Using every asset that we have and other agencies, like the Rock Hill PD Bomb Squad is out here using their robot to help us get a closer look in that house," said spokesperson Trent Faris.

People who live in the mobile home park were evacuated as a precaution.

No word on what ties the suspects have to the area.

They are now in custody.
